This exciting track features a unique blend of artists, including Novere on the chorus, Sneiman on the opening verse, Lolli Native’s Xhosa Spaza rap on the second verse, and Meloh_D’s captivating closing verse. Produced by Kommanda Obbs and Typhus, ‘Nthoempe’ highlights the growth and diversity of Tsépe Music, blending the collective’s signature style with Spaza rap. This collaboration showcases the creative fusion of Tsépe (Sesotho) and Spaza (Xhosa), celebrating the richness of Hip-Hop.
About the artist
Formed in 2010 by Kommanda Obbs, having realized the growth of the movement behind the whole TS’EPE sub-genre, philosophy, and vision, the group D2AMAJOE (Di-thu-a-ma-jwe) was initiated as part of the Ts’epe Sethuamajoe Art Movement. It is, to a large extent, influenced by the holistic Pan-African ideology. D2AMAJOE, which figuratively translates as “Boundary Breakers”, was initiated as a voice of the Southern African perspective on the African situation.
